Activity description
AVIOTEC is an Italian company based in Turin, which has a specialized experience in the design and construction of thermal insulation, electrical wiring for aerospace applications and cryogenics components. The main space programs that AVIOTEC has participated in with its production are:
Scientific satellites:• PRISMA PAYLOAD – Multi Layer Insulation blankets (MLI);
Return vehicles:• FLPP IXV – Fidelity mock-up – Electrical Harness;
International Space Station (ISS): • NODE 3 – Micrometeroid and Debris Protection System (MDPS);• CUPOLA – Multi Layer Insulation blankets (MLI)• PMM – Micrometeroid and Debris Protection System (MDPS)• ATV – Multi Layer Insulation blankets (MLI) – Micrometeroid and Debris Protection System (MDPS) – Electrical Harness• CYGNUS PCM – Multi Layer Insulation blankets (MLI) – Micrometeroid and Debris Protection System (MDPS) – Electrical Harness.
AVIOTEC is specialized in the design, production and installation of hardware for the thermal insulation in the aerospace applications. Experience, skills and competence have been developed through the work done on the most important European programs that compose the International Space Station (ISS). Our team of designers and manufacturers, with decades of experience in the field of passive Thermal Control Hardware, allows us to provide products of high reliability and superior quality. The attention focused on technological innovations guarantees our Customers thermal insulation products for any type of application.
AVIOTEC is able to realize for its Customers highly reliable electrical wiring for connections in aerospace, military and racing vehicles. The processes carried out during all the production phases are realized by ESA certified personnel and in compliance with the ECSS-ST-Q-70-26C "Crimping of high-reliability electrical connections"standard. The tools used in the processing are calibrated and kept under control according to the requirements of the ESA standards and any specific requests of the Customer. Every wiring performed by AVIOTEC is 100% electrically tested and comes with a Certificate of Conformity and Test Report.
AVIOTEC is also involved in the manufacturing of cryogenic solutions for GSE and flight applications (e,g, tanks).
