Activity description

EICAS intends to provide the SmallSats industry with the best answer to the demand of miniaturized, accurate, reliable, robust and low cost Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCS), by offering its ARGO product line.

ARGO's competitive advantages stem in a smart, reliable and flexible multicamera architecture embedding an intelligent data fusion from multiple sensors and sophisticated in-orbit recalibration procedures.

The product portfolio includes

• ARGO 1.0 Star Tracker, a fully autonomous plug&play solution, featuring high reliability and robustness. The product has been validated in orbit, successfully performing a wide IOD campaign from January 2021 to July 2022.

• ARGO 2.0 Star Tracker, a lighter and smaller architecture specifically conceived for the Constellation market, with fatherly reduced size, weight and power. The product has almost reached the full on ground qualification campaign.

• Reaction wheels and Integrated ADCS. A preliminary feasibility study has been successfully concluded, leading to the decision to add the feature of Attitude Control to ARGO Star Trackers, thus widening the company’s portfolio.
