Activity description
MEPIT was born as a company in the field of precision mechanics. Its main vocation is the field of Aerospace & Defense. The quality of the products and the quick response times make MEPIT a reliable partner in those sectors which mostly need innovative and advanced solutions. MEPIT is therefore the company that, from over 45 years, gives shape to all kinds of material, with high standards of quality, pursuing perfection for many fields of application, such as aviation, energy and racing.
MEPIT can work any type of material: from plexiglas to aluminium, from nylon to high speed quenched steel (64-66 HRC), from titanium to nickel and all the special steel alloys such as Inconel-750, Inconel-718, Hastelloy-X, 17-4 PH. In addition, in order to offer a full inclusive service, it is able to offer a finished product by collaborating with qualified suppliers, managing even special processes such as welding, heat treatment, surface treatment, non-destructive testing, varnishing and more.
At MEPIT, the goal is to provide a product of excellence, a timely service and sure in the costs to fully satisfy the expectations and demands of the customers. To keep this promise, MEPIT regularly invest part of their budget in research and development through collaborations with some Italian universities including the Turin Polytechnic and the University of Florence.
The investment has also led to the introduction of sophisticated CNC machines and latest-generation work centres to support the needs of the market. In addition, MEPIT completed the ISO 9001 certification by Det Norske Veritas; it standardized the requirements of its quality system to the EN 9100 standard and it obtained the license of the Italian State for the production of armament material - ex. TULPS.
