Newroboticarm is oriented to the development and manufacturing of small-sized, man-operated robotic arms that will play a significant role among the new instruments/tools required in the above scenario. Currently space engineering lacks the technology needed to implement and operate fully independently and efficiently in space environment, from sampling to manipulation and processing up to the aimed final product.
More precisely, we aim at bringing to the end-user a family of robotic arms with the following features:
• Small-size (about 1.5 m in length)
• Cost-competitive
• Modularity and flexibility of use
NRA’s capabilities
Our team jointly features a forty year experience in the Space industry and a consolidated experience in mechatronics.
Additionally, our research extends to the various possibilities that robotics can offer in support of man in space research and his future lunar and Martian settlements.
